It's BASQUE, not Spain

Simple answer: pintxos and sidra. Complex answer: Basque is truly one of the most unique places in Europe.Located in the western Pyrenees mountains that spans parts of northern Spain and southwestern France, it’s culturally distinct with its own language, Basque (Euskara),and boasts rich cultural heritage, gastronomy, and beautiful landscapes. San Sebastián has been high on my bucket list to travel because it’s renowned for food scene and highest concentrations of Michelin-starred restaurants per capita in the world. What characterizes Basque cuisine is in the high quality of local ingredients. Surrounded by oceans and pastures, there’s an abundance of amazing produce ranging from the freshest seafood to fine meats. It’s also important to note that restaurant La Viña in San Sebastián is the birthplace of THE Basque cheesecake as well. Pintxos culture in the Basque Country is about enjoying small, tasty bites on sticks. I like to call it the final boss of girl dinner and it's a fun way to experience Basque hospitality and food traditions. I loved being able to go on a road trip around San Sebastián, Bilbao, and Vitoria. I know it’s not as popular as major cities / southern beach costal cities like Malaga but personally it was my favorite part of the journey.
